Cimino Sharon brings 30 years of Financial Direct Marketing experience to Cimino Direct. Beginning at Union Fidelity, Sharon gained 5 years in the administrative areas of customer service, claims, and underwriting for this early industry leader in the direct marketing of insurance products. Her direct marketing experience includes Account Management experience at American International Group in New York, Financial Direct Marketing in Paris, France, and an Account Executive position in the Association/Group division of Marsh & McLennan Group Associates brokerage firm in New York City. During the mid 80s, Sharon was Director of Marketing at Continental American Life Insurance Company. Responsibilities included strategic planning, staff training and management, development and coordination of broad market television and fulfillment programs, third party/endorsed marketing, database maintenance and marketing, as well as product development, telemarketing support and analysis of campaign results. Sharon spent seven years as managing editor of the PDMA News, the official publication of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association, during which time the PDMA News grew from 16 to 24 pages, and increased paid advertising by more than 50%. Sharon was voted to the PDMA Board of Directors as Vice President and chaired the association's all-important Membership Committee. Most recently, Sharon was retained as Senior Consultant for the Union Labor Life Insurance Company, who serves millions of union members across the country. |
